Ordering Process
How much does it cost? Are there payment plans available? The outdoor loveseat costs $1,026, but is often on sale. The company does offer a monthly payment plan with a Wayfair credit card.
What are the upholstery or customization options? Did you choose any? The only customizations are the frame color, which is available in dark green, black, or dark blue.
What is the lead time for customization, manufacturing, and delivery? Depending on where you live, the delivery time can be anywhere from two days to a little over a week.
Delivery & Assembly
What was the delivery process like?
Wayfair offers a variety of delivery options, depending on item and location. I chose the “outside your front door” delivery option because I wasn’t entirely sure where I was going to put the sofa and wasn’t going to be home during the delivery. The sofa was delivered in a large cardboard box, as the loveseat is fully assembled upon delivery, in my driveway. The box seemed a little damaged, but luckily the loveseat was fully intact and unmarred.
What was the assembly process like?
The assembly process is minimal since there is nothing to do but unbox. The only struggle is moving it, as it weighs nearly 73 pounds. Definitely better for two people to move.
Is the outdoor sofa suitable for particular decor styles, and if so, which?
I think the Abra loveseat is a sleek, modern piece that is suitable for a variety of decor situations. It very closely resembles the Hay Palissade Lounge Sofa, so it carries that elegant Scandinavian design look. I have a slew of vintage metal outdoor furniture, and this worked really well in blending in with my existing look on my back deck.
How has the sofa has stood up to changes in weather/seasonal shifts?
The sofa is easy to clean and dry, though I wonder how well it would last in the rain and snow. According to the website, the powder-coated steel is rust and rain resistant, though the warranty only lasts one year. I haven’t noticed any paint chipping or rust yet, so I have high hopes for the longevity of the piece. Some reviewers note rust after a short period of time, but only time will tell!
